Abstract painting in aqua blue and rust with flashes of orange. One of a small group of paintings I made after a week away between lockdowns, precious time spent with friends walking the coast path in Pembrokeshire. They spring from a feeling of freedom, gratitude, and joy of being in that spectacular landscape, having been confined at home for months during the pandemic. The title and marks within the painting refer to Porthclais, a little Roman inlet harbour.
