These small paintings developed from having fun with drawn line, collage, and pops of colour. Happily ensconced in an exciting exploration of pink with greys/neutrals, text and circles, I happened upon a piece of handpainted collage paper in a beautiful donkey grey with a flash of pale aqua blue...oooh! Off I went, following the nudge, on a totally different blue tangent, perhaps helped by a hankering for clear blue seas, and warmer climes...
