Abstract landscape in shimmering palest aqua and deep burgundy with flashes of gold and rust. One of a small group of paintings I made after a week away between lockdowns, precious time spent with friends walking the coast path in Pembrokeshire. They spring from a feeling of freedom, gratitude, and joy of being in that spectacular landscape, having been confined at home for months during the pandemic. This painting would sit happily in an antique or contemporary setting.
