One of a small series of paintings I made centred on docks, the rich reds are enhanced by the slab of white wall and blues above. Docks and harbours are such exciting places for me, and a rich source of ideas. The massive bulk of ships, lines of wharves and structures, and marine ephemera providing flashes of bright colour.
